us Rosenberg, in June, 1953, the 'Comnunist campaign assumed
fferent emphasis. Its rajor effcrt centered upon Morton
Sebell, the RosunLergs’ co-cefendant. The Natiouel Committee
to Secure Jestice in the Rosenberg Case - a Comiunist front
which had been conducting the campaign in the United States -
was reconstituted as the National Rosenbera - Sobell Committee
at a conference in Chicego in October, 1953, and then the
National Committee to Secure Justice for Norton Scbell in the
Rosenberg Cese' ..."

In September, 1954, the name "National Committee te
Secure Justice for Morton Sobell' appeared on literature issued
by the Comnittee. In March, 1955, the current name, "Committee
to Secure Justice for Morton Sobell" first appearec on literature
issued by the Committee. .
