L, Allee in an interview with a Harlingen, Texas, radio Station, June 2, 1967, had said he, accompanied two Starr County Deputy Sheriffs, arrested Dimas and SenjModriguez because he feared violence if they were left-4t large. Allee said Dimas and Rodriguez were traced to a . house where they were found seated at a table with their hands underneath it. He ordered them to put their hands up; they refused to do so; and he and the deputies "ysed what force was necessary" to arrest them.
