Confronted with such unjus! ceurt action, san anyone doubt the existence of a power bloc against farm workers’ rights? Some say this lettuce strike and boycott is a fight between two unions. The fact is: the dispute between the two unions has been settled for months, A definite statement of that settlement came at the October 26, 1970, mesting between AFL-CIO President George Meany and Frank Fitzsimmons, acting President of the Interna- tienal Brotherhood of Teamsters.
