We shall be able to express this PRINCIPLL in the simple terms of our economic and political lif and institutions, We shall be able to permit this PRINCIPLE to work in our economic and political life and institutions. That which is fundamentally sound is the most practical. Any idea that is not practical is wort! Jess. ldeas that are most fundamentally sound have the most practical value. Do you still wish to know who are the sponsors of this organization? Then seek to know this PRINC PLE, PRACTICAL ESSENCE. Until we understand and use the ESSENCE of the PRACTICAL, we not know the SPONSOR of this work—even though we be told the names of ourselves who are the serva sponsors of SPONSOR NUMBER ONE. When we, the members of all the Solution for All Clubs, have t come conclusively confident that the so-called sponsors humbly and gladly subordinate themselves to SPO. All men who are, and shall be c: nected with this movement shal] be capable of doing so only in so iar as they have identified themselves w MOVING SUBSTANCE and POWER. We believe that Col. We of these Clubs continue to see him there. Wer ommend to you the article entitled “Lindbergh Today” in Scribner's Commentator for August. This arti appeared entirely independently of this Club. It is, of course, impossible in 1940 to put anybody into the pri idency on any but the usual run of issues. Our concrete objectives will reveal themselves step by step as approach 1944, and before. Be patient! We have an economic and political system concretely red. We are system now. Since it is for a short time from now, it is not for today. Therefore, today we must know w we know or can know now, and do what we must do and can do now. As we do in the successive nows what must do, we shall find that each thing done is already a part of that which is the culminating plan that bas been presented. More and more we shall see it arising out of the natural, logical, steps we accomplish, Trusting, dear friend of the Club, that we have for this particular now fully carried out our obligati to the country to make ourselves known, and assuring you that we wish to lay bare before you the very SL STANCE, ENERGY and NAME of the ACTION of ESSENCE within us, we remain, Sincerely yours, Executive Committee, 7 SOLUTION FOR ALL ed ee ee - na a i] : } ™ concretely orepare are not presenting ‘LUB No. 1 In accordance with our practice of noting the vita) truth in all ideas, practices and programs, we rec mend, for careful study, the articles, in the Commonwealth magazine for September, on the Finished Prod Single ‘Tax, and on the Ad Valorem Property Tax and what it is doing in our system, These articles a. independently of our Club.
