Mr. Bugas called from Detroit and advised that,
pursuant to my additional struct! ons, he had been able to mim aueme
arrange an interview with ‘ Henry-Ford. Henry Ford stated thgt —
he asked Colonel Charlies A Lindberg to come out to Detrott ——
and to utett Aim at the plant hecause he wanted to talk to _——————e—
Lindberg about Lindberg's attitude toward the Jews. Henry Ford
told Bugas that he had heard a speech which Lindberg had made
several nights before, and Ford did not like some of the things
which Lindberg had said about the Jews. Accordingly, he asked
Lindberg to come out and see him 80 that he couid give some views
on that score. Lindberg was out there about four weeks ago, and a
while Ford did not know the exact date, he stated he would check sor
his files and advise Bugas.

Henry Ford stated that Lindberg had stayed overnight and
that the conversations were principally about Jewish matters. Henry
Ford does not recall any conversations on the part of Lindberg with
regard to Lindberg 's obtaining or securing information from the War
