“Jew baiting" speech of LINDBERGH came directly from ;
VIERECK'S pen, the local group admitted this last speech
was a mistexe in strategy and they are writing a letter of
Protest to the AMERICA FIRST COMMITTEE and threatening
withdrawal of financial support - VIERECK receives twelve
thousand dollars per yeer from the German Government for
his efforts, He is spending seyeral-hundred thousand
each year on propaganda. He owns thé "Flandere Haji" press .
and wrote many of the speeches for the late Senator LUNQEEN, '
At this meeting it was agreed that LINDBERGH was the best ,
propagandist operating for the Germans in the United States
~ and full support, finenciel and otherwise, would’de éan-
tinued to the AMERICA FIRST COMMITTEE who are Med icing the
services of LINDBERGH."

Inasmuch as thie appears to be importéht spformation,
if it can be substantiated, and in view of the presert péding prose-
cution against the Subject, I communicated with Captain B. L, CANAGA,
of the Naval Intelligence eat San Diego on November 3, 1941, advising
him of the pending Prosecution and requested that arrangenents be
made with this office or the San Diego Office to contact the informant
to obtain full information about this mattoery: Hee -
