The meeting was opened by wILLtaM DIETRICH who in his wR
opening remarks stated that the lecal Communist Party is not asleep
and further that thousands of leaflets have been distributed. He
stated further that a greater interest has been shown in the Soviet “”~
union since Hitler's attack upon the Russian peoplee In his remarks
DIETRICH said thet “American rulere are asking the question, ‘why
this attack on the Soviet union?*" Later in his remarks DIETRICH
referred to CHARLES LINDBERGH as an arch-Fascist,; end etill later oe
