of the chapter are devoted to a chronolo;;ical record of mysterious accidents and
disasters in 1941 which the authors feel were Axis~inspired acts of sabotage.
CHAPTER VII
"Counter-Sabotage" 1434
This chapter is complimentary to the F3I ana outlines the FBI's jurisaiction
as indicated oy the presidential Proclamation of Septemver 6, 1934, anu tne Sureauls
work up to the present time. ‘fhe ONL and G2 come into oare mention in this charter.
The authors merely state that a-2, OhI ana tne x3I form the tiree chief asencies for
combating enemy activities in the United States.
A resume of the Seorse JobSjpasch, et al, saboteur case is in this cha.ter
and it says that on August 8, 1942, six of the Nazi saboteurs were executed in ashinz
while Berger received a iife sentence and Dasch received thirty years in prison.
