SHARON TATE - VICTIM
On the morning of August 9, 1969, a brutal mass
murder was discovered at 10050 Cielo Drive, Los Angeles,
California. The murder victims were described as follows:
Sharon Tate, a motion picture actress, who was
26 years of age. She was married to Roman Polanski, a motion
picture director, who was in London, England at the time
of the murders. She was approximately eight months pregnant —
at the time of her death.
Jay Sebring, a men's hairdresser, who was 35
years of age, and who was once engaged to Sharon Tate.
Voityct Frokowsky, a one time assistant of
Polanski in film work, who was 37 years of age.
Abigail Folger, heiress to the Folger coffee
fortune, who was 26 years of age.
Steven Parent, a friend of the caretaker of
the residence, who was 18 years of age.
Investigation by Officers of the Los Angeles ‘
Police Department (LAPD) revealed that the above victims
were beaten, stabbed, and shot to death. The telephone
lines leading to the house were cut and scrawled in blood
on the front door of the house was the word "PIG".. Narcotics
were also discovered in Sebring's car and on the premises.
