Just a note to express my appreciation,’ as well
as that of many with whom I have talked, about your
forthright stand with regards to the Martin Luther King
episode. - “ ;
Everyone knows of the fine, unbiased position
which you have always taken on matters pertaining to
your government. It is unfortunate that extremes from
any Segment of our citizenry refuses to acknowledge any
other viewpoint. I am not necessarily speaking of the
extremes of the left but also.those of the right. ‘There
comes a time when each of us has to, in good conscience,
speak his mird, and your doing so in this instance was
well warranted but long overdue.
