He stated that toward this end, he continues to be active in behalf of Cuban refugee affairs in the New York- New Jersey area. He advised that the ARA, is not connected in any way w. e MIRR. stated that the MIRR is no longer active in the Hudson County, New Jersey area, and that most of its activity is confined to the Miani, Florida area. He continued that as a matter of fact, only two weeks ago, the ARA and two other anti-Castro Cuban refugee organizations were consolidated inte one organization, which will be known as the Junta Cubana (JC). He identified the _ other two organizations as the Cruzada Civica. Anti— Communista and the Associacion Sindicato Independentista. continued that the JC has no leader or formal organization at the present time, and it has not held any meetings. He explained that in most cases, when Cuban refugees in the Northern New Jersey area wish to hold a rally, they generally get together with other refugees in New York City and hold their rally or meeting at the Hotel Woodstock, 43rd Street, New York City. In connection with Dr. Bosch, SRD stated that he has always considered him to be one of the great Cuban patriots and he has always been a close personal gs rter of Dr. Bosch. He stated that during the past year he and the ARA, have been active in an effort to obtain either. Cae freedom of, or clemency for, Dr. Bosch.
