The March 19, 1950 issue of the "Naily Worker",
Harlem Edition, on page 14, column 2 contained a report
of a meeting of the Harlem Regional Committee of the
Communist Party held at the United Mutual Auditoriun,
310 Lenox Avenue, New York City. The article listed
CLAUDIA JONES as 4 speaker and described her as "Secretary
of the National Women's Commission".

contained an article concerning the May Day Parade held
May 1, 1951 in ew York City under the sponsorship of
the United May May Committec. The article stated that
JONES along with other members of the National Committe
of the Communist Party reviewed the parade. ,
