"Two tendencics emerged in our discussions. First was the tendency which argued that, since an outstanding wealmess of the past was the failure to build unitcd-front movements among working class and Negro women, it was now nocessary. to limit oursclves to the organization of a working-class women's pcace movement. Clearly such a tendency is wrong. It fails to understand the full concept of our Party's united- front poaco policy which is to croate a movement bascd on the working class in unity with all other poacc-loving pooplics, It roflccts a lack of faith in the working- class women thomsclvcs who can and will lcad ail strata of the women in their strugglc for peace, This tendency has 'licftt-scctarian implications, For to defeat the warmakcrs, it is neccessary to unite all sections of the women under tho lcadership of the working women, as it is neccessary to unite its broad allics undcr the leadership of the working class.
