CIESIELSKI appeared ina television interview,
which took place on WIAR-TV, Norfolk, Va., and indicated that
it was possible for individuals to declare themselves as :
conscientious objectors, thereby preventing themselves from
being made combatants. CIESIELSKI said that both civilians
and membersof the military can be conscientious objectors.
CIESIELSKI did not identify himself on the TV program as being
connected with the military, and he was dressed in civilian
clothes atthe time. {
