After the half-hour reading, leaflets were dis-
tributed at various points throughout the city urging
persons to do something visible today to express your con-
viction that this war should be ended. The suggestions in
the leaflet were peaceful ways to resolve the war. Some of
the suggestions were: write your congressman and senators;
work for a presidential candidate who favors peace; plan
meetings in your home, church or school to discuss what you
can do to work for peace. a
On 4/26/72, CALC announced that it was going to
take part in a national campaign to force Honeywell, Inc.
to stop making anti-personnel weapons for use in the Southeast
Asia war. CALC advised that the campaign against Honeywell's
production of anti-personnel weapons ig in association with
all 37 local chapters of the national CALC,
On 5/13/72, an anti-war rally was held at a local
church in Louisville, Kentucky. The purpose of the rally
was to speak out against NIXON's mining of Vietnam's harbors
and to boycott the Honeywell Corporation. CALC of Kentucky
was one of the organizations to have speakers at the rally.
The rally was peaceful and orderly.
On 7/29/72, 8/5/72, 8/12/72, 8/19/72, CALC picketed
in front of two Louisville stores to protest the selling of
Honeywell Inc. photographic equipment. The picketing was
