REVOLUTIONARY ACTIVITIES
The Clergy and Laymen Concerned of Kentuckiana
(CLCK) is the Kentucky branch of the National Clergy and
Laymen Concerned (CALC). The CALC is described as a
group of clergy and laymen who originally formed an
organization because of their concern with the war in
Vietnam. The group now concerns itself with matters
other than the Vietnam War, including economics, prison
reform, social and religions reform, etc.
On December 22, 1971, the Courier-Journal,
a Louisville, Kentucky, area newspaper, indicated in one 124,
of their articles that several hundred persops took part I
in a candlelight march through downtown Louisville on
the evening of December 21, 1971, which began at Founder's
Square, Louisville, Kentucky. The march was sponsored by
the Clergy and Laymen Concerned of Kentuckiana and was meant
to recognize the deaths caused by the Vietnam War. At
