CLERGY AXD LAYMEN CONCERNED
Speakers called for continuing resistance to the war
and they claimed that the wage price freeze proved that
the Nixon Adsinistration is trying to force the nations
workers te bear the economic burden of the war,
Approximately 150 persons participated in the
demonstration which started at noon and ended at 2:10 p.m.
There were no incidents and no arrests.
The KPAC was founded in 1970 by members of
the Socialist Workers Party (SWP). Its basic
objective is to unite masses of people,
including labor unions, GIs, aud the black
community in the struggle to end United
States intervention in Southeast Asia through
orderly and peaceful tactics. The SWP has
been designated pursuant tu Executive Order
104506,

anti-war and anti-draft organizaticrs in the
Chicago area.
