During this conversation Collins was furnished information concerning Martin Luther King and informed that Coretta King had stated that Collins was blinded by prejudice. Coretta Scott King was the speaker at this affair which was held in Cobo Hall, Detroit, Mich. on 4/3/65. The 4/4/65 issue of "The Detroit News" published an article captioned "Dr. King's Wife Here, Bares 5,000 = Student Protest Plan" which pertained to a massive civil rightscampaign in the South during the summer of 1965 by college students. This article revealed that Raiph Abernathy (100-442706) accompanied Mrs. King to Detroit.
