The unknown caller advised [ was engaged in a conversation with a female who lived in e Portland, Oregon, area. The topic of conversation was the annual jamboree held in the Portland area to honor D.B. Cooper's successful extortion of $200,000 from Northwest ,Airlines~ on 11/24/71 and his gold exodus by parachute from Northwest Airlines Flight 305 on the same day. During this conversation, [_____|stated he had at one time worked in the Portland, Oregon, area and probably knew D.B. Cooper better than anyone. Co Jeurther stated he knows D.B. Cooper is in the San Diego area and Cooper had celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday in the San Diego area. The unknown male caller stated[ was very boastful and adamant concerning his knowledge of Cooper. The male caller also advisea[ __— informed the female caller Cooper would not be in attendance at this year's jamboree but was sure Cooper would attend one of the future jamborees, possibly in the next two years.
