Oregon, telephone was interviewed in the Portlan b7C
FBI Office, and he provided the following information:

1976, was working in Saddle Dam Park, which is
located at the Iower end of Yale Reservoir in Clark County, b6
Washington, and he found a piece of nylon cord, approximately bic
twelve feet eight_i g, which he believes appears to be
parachute line. provided the cord to the interviewing
Agent, and it was noted that the cord had a knot tied in one
end, and both ends of the cord were frayed.
_ = stated the cord was hanging in a fence which
is in a northerly direction from the restroom facility at Saddle
Dam, The cord was not tied to the fence, but it was draped b6
around the fence as though it had been blown there. — bIC
explained that the cord was located approximately 800 feet from
the stairway, which is located near the wstroom. He also drew a
map for the interviewing Agent to show where the cord had been
found. did not know how long the cord had been on
the fence and was unable to provide any additional information.
