The UNKNOWN SUBJECT apparently boarded the above captioned flight at Portland, Oregon, and since the only person who was not available for interview when the plane arrived in Seattle, was a DAN COOPER, who boarded at Portland, ti is assumed this is the name used by the subject. When he first announced the hijacking, the UNSUB asked for two parachutes. He later changed his instructions and asked for four parachutes, two back chutes and two chest. chutes, plus the $200,000.00. Further, the subject wanted everything collected at SEA-TAC Airport before he would allow the plane to land and he wanted all this done by 5:00 PM. The plane circled SEA-TAC Airport for approximately 1: hours during which time the parachutes and money was collected and brought to the Airport. The plane landed at SEA-TAC at approximately 5: 45 PM and after the subject knew the money was being brought to him and the gas trucks were at hand, he allowed all the 7 passengers as well as the other two stewardesses to leave the aircraft. was ordered to remain and he had bé6 her bring the parachutes, money, etc., into the aircraft to him. bic - Each A t - pee tet I6Y <1 ~ R= - 66-74 (100) Buy U.S. Savings Bonds Regularly on the Payroll Savings Plan DB Cooper-1657 Liettiatadaichcsattnetehhae ote ae ¢as tac ie ena nate oe - ae rept oy matte ~ ow tee Mee = a owyewe meager ee en 4 _ e573 ae “¢ ay. ’ ore — . . eer Tee root SP RR RTT ee |
