UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Memorandum SAC, SEATTLE (7-568) SUBJECT: The following investigation was conducted on 12/26/72 at the Seattle-First National Bank, 2010 N.W. Market Street, Seattle, following receipt of information from Seattle 2D that two unknown suspects, a male and female, had just exchanged a total of 95 twenty dollar bills, some of which were identical to the serial numbers Listed in the PINAP ransom List: On 12/26/72, OLS, t., home addre -D. phone i 66 he is employed by the S.P.D. and works from 7:00 PM until BIC 3:00 AM. He was off-duty, awaiting his shift, and was located in the parking lot of the above-named bank shortly after 3;00 PM when one of the bank's ee (2 out’ of the bank and advised him that a suspicious man was in the bank exhanging a 1 ex of twenty-dollar bills for 100-dolla into the bank and talked shortly with bank who advised him that the suspects, a male and female, had come into the bank and acted suspicious so the bank camera was activated. She stated that the male had a very large roll of twenty dollar bills which he was exhanging for one hundred dollar bills. observed the two suspects exchanging the bills and then followed them out of the bank and observed them enter a nearby Washington Federal Savings and Loan bank. followed | them in and talked with who told him | that the su came into the bank asking to exchange $20's for $ioo's. | J told them that the bank would not be able to help them and refered them back to the Seattle-First bank. then followed them back to the Seattle - First 6 bank where the suspects again engaged the tellers to e bic more $20%s.
