The adults of the Sheppard family, while I do feel extremely sorry for them too, Yet it is the youngsters, six of them, that will have to put up with a cruel Public, that can be so extremely cruel, all the days of the lives. This is the part that hurts so very much. ; . I know that your department does hot indulge in giving out information when they are working on a case, and I know you are an extremely busy man. But, Kr. Hoover, this is almost killing me, to know that maybe -we could have helped him eae carrer nd that he may have o spen en years o s life in jail. Just because of the type of publics this case got, and my being forbidden to do what I felt I should have done at that time, ‘
