After the speech Du Bois was questioned by a United States Government representative eoncerning his pians to return to the United States. Du Bois indicated he planned to return in about four months but indicated he might visit Paris, Czechoslovakia and some other Eastern European countries, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and possibly Communist and South Africa. Should any information come to your attention concerning Du Bois! contemplated travel, it should be furnished to the Bureau promptly in memorandum form suitable for dissemination.
