Not one witness was examined and the Roosevelt
woman lied when she wrote that in Brion! her eve-
ning's “peacefulness” was “destroyed because there
was much about testimony before Senator McCarthy's
committee, including an attack on the American
clergy, which was entirely unjustified and which
ckfired on the Senator ait his cohorts.”
