For example, in the scene which purports to show F.D.R. signing the recognition of Russia, it is clearly former President NOOSLVELT who appears in the scene, but whether he is actually signing the official egrcement recognizing the U.S.S.R. cannot be told from thc scene itself but is so doscribed by the commentary. Furthermore, wnile the film does show Mrs. ELEANOR ROOSEVELT addressing a group of young people, it is the accompanying commentary (uy) whicn describcs the group as a groun of youns Communist Leazuers oe. ; T-1 advised that the film itself runs 120 minutes, and thet the comnentary which accomoanies the film on the sound treck was done by Mr, MYRON C, FAGAN himself. The general theme of the picture purports to show the Government pampering of Communists in the United States and the appeasement of STALIN during the ROOSEVELT and TRUMAN regimes in the United States. The film tells of the formation of the Communist Party in the United States, the Communist methods of causing internal strifo, and the pitting of race agcinst race, To cmphasis this, the picture shows sccnes of race wars in the United States, as well eas the Communist methods of brecding dissatisfaction in the United States. Former President ROOSFVELT is shown to be a ~ ‘ sick man at Yalta, ond ALGER EISS as "running the show." The picturo was critical of General GEORGE MARSHALLts "selling out" to the Chinese Communists. Mr. ROOSEVELTts recognition of Russia is shown, as well es scenes of the - Spenish Civil War. ? During the film, the commentator gives ca discourse on Communist infiltration of Hollywood, stating that SIDNEY JILLNAN had given WILLI SENBERG (vossibly means RG) $1,000,000 to start the Communist Red propaganda vuspaign in Hollywood. This was done beccuse the Kremlin had recognized the potentialities of the film meeting for the imolementation of Red propaganda. In one of the scenes, the Hollywood Independent Citizens Committee of Arts, Sciences, and Professions in Hollywood was displayed.
