The photostat of the G-2 file and the blue menorandun dated Decenber 31, 1943, are attached. Mr. Tracy will be advised along the lines of our discusston this morning. He will also tell katkins that Anderson's wife works in Ident but does not have accese to the main files. JI think, as a tactic, Tracy should get across to Watkins and Watkins Should carry the point to Anderson that he had checked at the FBI and FBI files do not contain any such information. It is obvious that Anderson probably has learned of the file from G-2 sources and from the rumors which have been circulated in Washington.
