It is noted that this issue advertises the May lst rally which was held at the Yankee Stadium on May 2, 193. It also advertised a meeting which was held at the Golden Key Ballroom, Lenox Avenue, on which program irs. FRANKLIN DELANO ROOS T was guest speaker and paid tribute to Mrs. MARY/BETHUNE. There was also advertised the Negro Freedom Rally, scheduled for dune 7th at Madison Square Garden, which is sponsored by the Negro Labor Victory Committee and the People's Committee, colored or ganizations of New York City.
