GS<S with two chrome “spanner” ornaments attached parallel to a central Chev-

© The valve cover of die 1953 Corvette is a uniqua veriation of the standard
1953 Chevrolet passenger car cover. The Corvette version fs flattened at the
forward end for hood clearance. The cover didfers from later years by its dual
central hold-down bolts. Lates covers are hetd by bolts sround the periphery.
‘The 1953 cover has the words “Otus Fleme” on the paenenger side and “Special”
on the drwer side.
