CHARLES H. DAVIS was a senior partner in this law firm and had represented ELVIS A, PRESLEY and the PRESLEY family interests for approximately 31 years. ELVIS PRESLEY maintains a residence at Memphis, Tennessee, and is a popular movie star and entertainer. — Dae to the poor bealth of CHARLES DAVIS, D. BEBCHER GNITH became involved in the PRESLEY interests in bebalf of the law firms, and in this connection the following facts cane to bis attention; ELVIS PRESLEY owned a Lockbeed Jetstar airplane, * registration number N777EP and manufactarer’s serial sunber In Jane, 1976, there was an outstanding indebtediess on the aircraft in excess of $600,000. This was owed to the American National Bank of Morristown, Hew Jersey. This particular bank beld the mortgage on the plane since it was ° porchased, according to SMITH, in the general ares of this nk. v This aircraft was mot being eved by PRESLEY is his entertainment besipess and therefore he was making payments. en an asset that was mot generating auy returna on its capital. | In addition, attempts to sell the aircraft have resulted in mo success.
