gsynopsis: The Jefferson School of Social Science, presently j
7 oo, unincorporated, of 575 6th Avenue, NYC, which early in
i {ts inception was termed “Harxist Institute", was conceived -
and brought into existence by the Communist Party to '
fulfill a need of an institution for adult education in
the principles of Marxism and Leninisn. The school’
ostensibly operates under the banner of liberalism with i
an alleged purpose of teaching the true concept of democracy
to the masses. This institution absorbed the New York
Yorkers School and the School for Democracy, acquiring
faculty members, curricula, the Ruthenberg Library,
equipment, students and financial deficits therefrom.
