POSSIBLE DEMON {STRATION AGAINST
THE PRESIDENT, MARCH CH 32, 1968
A source, who has furnisika reliable information
in the past, on March 1, 1968 furnished a flyer captioned aw,
"Confront The Warmaker! March 12, N.H." . oe
This flyer stated that if President Johnson
goes to New England, thousands of students would "demon- ~. -
strate against him, his war, and his whole manner of
Government".
-The flyer stated that President Johnson is going
to New Hampshire on March 12, (1963). It was stated that
"a large, meaningful demonstration is under way".
. The flyer stated that Senator Eugene MeCarthy who
attacks the Vietnam War as "morally and diplomatically + aay 3
indefensible", has challenged President Johnson in the a
March 12, (1968) New Hampshire Primary. a
‘The flyer requested that readers act as volunteers —~
to help Senator McCarthy in his campaign. It was stated
that free buses. leave week-end and that reservations could
be made by calling Brookline, (Mass.) "731- ~7BU05 MeCarthy
