THE UNITED STATES BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION.
Investigative Jurisdiction.
The United States Bureou of Investigation hes the
responsibility of investigating offenses ageinst the lews of the
United States and collecting evidence in cases in which the United
States is or mey be a party, end possesses primery investigative
jurisdiction of those offenses against the laws of the United
States not specifically essigned ty Congressional enactment to
other Governmental agencies for investigation.
This Bureau does not investigete violations of the
National ProLitition Act, the Narcotic Lars, Smiggling, Counterfeiting,
a
Immigration Laws, and certain other miscellaneous statutes.
