Accomplishnents
Statistics at best are rather dry, but offer the most
* coneise methcd of outlining the achievements of the Division. Con-
victions were securei in 93.81% of all ceses investigated by the
Division which were brought te trial during the fiscal year 134.

obtained in cases investigated by the Divieion. |
The sentences imposed in thesc casas included ll life |
sentences and totaled over 5,073 years, exclusive of probationary °
sentences, toteling 2,561 years, and surperded sentences of 1,012
years. The fince imposed during the same year totaled $772,938.73.
