On 11/8/85, the FLORIDA NATIONAL BANK was robbed by two men. The getaway car description was identical to a rental car utilized by the subjects during this period of time. The bank guard's qun was stolen and entered in NCIC. This gun has not been recovered to date. The subjects used an M-16 or AR-15. During this robbery an off-duty Metro-Dade Policeman was threatened. The tag on the getaway vehicle was stolen from LIVING WELL GYMNASIUM on 9/30/85, and this gymnasium was connected to MICHAEL PLATT during this investigation. Also, on 11/8/85, the PROFESSIONAL SAVINGS BANK was robbed. During this robbery, the subjects used a car stolen by them from EMILIO BRIEL on 10/4/85, as the getaway vehicle. They also killed Mr. BRIEL at a South Dade rock pit area and took his gun. On 1/10/86, the BRINKS ARMORED TRUCK at BARNETT BANK was robbed. The subjects shot and killed EMILOOO00IO BRIEL, as mentioned a and used his car a _ _— _— : ae ee the sane weapon “sea by Prat to Rie on P. GROGAN and SA JERRY DOVE on 4/11/86. The BRINKS guard was shot during this robbery by the subjects and on this date, he is still alive. 19/86, the BARNETT BANK was robbed.
