NY 166-3211 On February 23, 1971, Chief Assistant United States Attorney ROBERT MORVELLO, Southern District of New York, New York, New York was advised of the facts in this case. On February 25, 1971, Assistant United States Attorney MORVELLO advised that this case would necessitate the issuance of subpoenas to the aforementioned individuals and in this regard he issued a subpoena for the victim RONALD ALPERT to appear before a Federal Grand dury, Southern District of New York, on March 4, 1971, at 10:00 am, to testify and give evidence in regard to this matter. MORVELLO sutsequertly advised that ALPERT has appeared before the Federal Grand Jury and has taken the 5th Amendment to all questions ask him. On March 31, 1971, the facts in this case were discussed with Assistant United States Attorney MORVELLO. Mr. MORVELLO advised that RONALD ALPERT, the victim, has been uncooperative to date and MORVELLO re- quested additional investigation to help establish the violation in this matter. | pt on * J a my
