On 1/30/46, GERALD L. K. SMITH. testified before
the HCUA Committee which was headed by Honorable JOHN W.
WOOD, Chairman. Page 17, paragraph 1, of this testimony
contained a petition filed with the committee by SMITH.
This petition was entitled, "A Petition for Redress of ie
Grievances and for an Investigation into Promoted Terrorism, /
Z Denial of Civil Liberty, Conspiracy Against Freedom, Organ- **
‘ ized Character Assassination, Corrupt Practi¢ee, Organized
«) Rioting, etc.™ The part of SMITH's petition pertaining to

"I petition this committee of Congress to investi-
gate the activities:-of FRANK SINATRA who, on the sur-
