b7C On 8/13/46 the Los Angeles Office advised that on that date Benjamin "Bugs" Siegel (62-81518) complained to various individuals that a stop order had been issued by Bender, head of the Communist Political Association, who had OKed the building of a Las Vegas hotel. He further complained that (one) Sinatra had an OK on a $1,500,000 building in the South. There was a discussion as to whether the CPA s had jurisdiction.
