Cole indicated that he wanted Sinatra and Red Skelton to each do a show at Freedom Land in NYC. It had been reported to each of these sources that this restaurant was backed by Frank Sinatra. It was reported that arrangements were being made to make a test case to determine if a duplex apartment building adjoining the restaurant could be opened as a casino for illegal gambling.
