The first six letters, dated September 12, 1992,
September 16, 1992, September 25, 1992, September 26, 1992,
September 27, 1992, and September 28, 1992 were received at the
SINATRA residence by SINATRA’s secretary, LA DONNA KERN,
telephone number (619) 321-6830, and forwarded to SINATRA’s Los
Angeles secretary, LORI THOMPSON, telephone number (213)
939-4168. THOMPSON opened and read the letters and because of
the threats had them hand delivered to SILBERT on October 12,
1992. The last three letters, dated September 29, 1992,
September 30, 1992 and October 4, 1992, were also received by
KERN and forwarded unopened, by Federal Express, to SILBERT.
SILBERT received these letters on October 14, 1992 and opened and
read then.
SILBERT has notified SINATRA’s manager, ELIOT WEISMAN,
Premier Services, Inc., 1401 University Drive, Coral Springs,
Florida 33071, telephone number (305) 755-1700, of the letters.
SINATRA was in New York, New York, and, as of October 14, 1992,
was not aware of the threat.
