Article from the D. W., 2/2/h6 re: "Prosecuting attorneys at the
Gerald L. K. Smith hecklers! trial today were told by Judge arthur
S. Guerin to start proving their case or it would be thrown out of
court.
"Meanwhile, FRANK SINATRA said he wuld head a citizens delegation
to see Mayor Bowron, City Attorney Chesebro and other civic
officials in protest against the persecution of the 48 defendants.
The delegation also will protest against allowing Smith to return
to Los Angeles, it was renorted.

Hollywood Roosevelt hotel after an address by June Sale, one of the
defendants.
"In reply to Smith's charge before the Renkin committee in Washingt
that he was a ‘Mrs. Roosevelt in pants,' SINATRA asserted:
