The raiders epparently broke into the wrong apartment, being con- fused by separate entrances to the three apartments in the build- ing at thet address, and hurriedly wade their exit. It developed thet this raid was made by Private Detectives BARNEY RUDITSKY end PHILIP IRWIN, accompanied by FRANK SINATRA, JOE DI MAGGIO, HENRY SANICOLA (SINATRA'ts Manager), and PATSY D'AMORE, owner of the Villu. In connaction with the Senate Comcitiee investigation on Collection Agencies which conducted hearings in early March, 1957, FRANK SINATRA claimed that he did not even appsar on the scene of the raid, although he.was identified by other persons in the area as having been present with DI MAGGIO and the others. DI MAQGIO has evaded subpoena and, thus, has not testified, although he has given an af- fidavit, to support the story of SINATRA. p7 There mere dridications that because of the failure of the raid, DI MAQGIO refused to pay the detective bill, so RUDITSKY made a de- mand upon SINATRA for the detective fee of several hundred dollara, and SINATRA paid it, claiming he later was reimbursed by DI MAQQIO. i Date furnished: Not stated , ‘ | Agent: Not stated ~ Informant: Not stated Originals Unable to locate from a...
