FRANK SINATRA, owner of record of 50 per cent of the Cal-Neva Lodge, was the headline entertainer on opening night and was scheduled to play for one week. Newspaper articles in Las Vegas reflected that the Cal-Neva Lodge was forced to turn down 20,000 requests for reservations.
