I aleo informed Mr. Cahill that QD had in fact been furnished with an autographed photograph from you several e years ago and that, of course, a large number of persons had received such photographs at their request. Mr. Cahill stated that from the facts which I had furnished there was no indice ation whatever of a violation of any Federal Statute and I particularly pointed out to him that you wanted to be sure that he thoroughly understood that you had no interest what- ever in other than you would have in the subject b7 C of any other Surean investigation.
