On October 18, 1977, the following
agencies received a copy of a communique from the GJB regarding
this bombing:
Automobile Machinists Union, Local 289, Seattle;
BBC Dodge Company, Burien;
FBI, Seattle;
King County Automobile Dealers Association, Seattle; and
KOMO, Radio and TV, Seattle. ;
The aforementioned communique which was received by
the Automobile Machinists Union was an original typewritten
page and contained a rolled fingerprint and the notation, "JOHN
W. SHERMAN's right thumbprint". The fingerprint has been
positively identified as the right thumb print of JOHN WILLIAM
SHERMAN, Federal fugitive and member of the George Jackson
Brigade. A laboratory report reflecting this identification
is included in this report.
