Paper label fragments were adhering to some of the other glass
fragments in the above specimens; however, the probable source and contents
of the container(s) represented by these fragments could not be established
dy the Laborotory.

Specimen Q72 contains Sulfuric scid.
TIMING MECHANISMS
Specimens QI, QE2 end QE9 contain components of “Travino"
series spring-driven travel alarm clocks manufactured by General Time
in Tatwan and marketed by Westclox, Division of General Time, LaSalle,
[llinois. The clocks in specimens Q€i and Q62 are the “Travino* series
model 44240. The perticular model of "Travino® series travel alarm in
specimen Q69 could not be ascertained faasmuch as the only varistion in
models within the "Travino" serics {s the color of case, which is not
present in the specimen. The particular models utilize luminous hends end |
hour dots. oe :
Modifications made to each of the travel alarm clocks would have
resulted in a maximum delay of less than 60 minutes.

BATTERIES
An Eveready, 9-volte, no. 522, “alkaline powercell" battery is
present in Q61, Q62, and Q68. The code *CR I" is present on the bottom
of the Q61 and Q62 batteries. The seme code appears to be present on the Q68
battery; however, the damaged condition of the Q69 battery precludes positively -
determining the code, The outer metal cases of the Q6} and Q62 bstteries are
gold, red, white, and black.
BATTERY CONNECTORS
-
Snap-type battery connectors are atteched to the QE1, QE2, end
Q69 batteries. The vinyllike battery covers and lead wires appear to have
been removed prior to use in the IEDS. The vinyllike covers appear to
have been grey in color on the Qél and Q62 battery connectors. The damaged |
condition of the Q69 battery connector precludes determining the color of the
possible cover.
