As you know, tnroughout my years as District Attorney and Attorney General I have had a deep interest in criminal statistical reports, and the greatest respect and confidence in the Federal Bureau of Investigation under your directorsnip. it is a matter of deep regret that misunderstanding should have arisen in the interpretation of the facts, the true meaning of wnich is of such grave importance to tne entire country.
