Microscopic, microchemical and spectrographic examinations of the r
wax lumps in specimen Qij2 revealed them te be similar in color, texture and — k
composition to the red wax markings on the stones. It is concluded that the
very smali lumps from the 1952 Ford and the red markings on the stones could
“have come from the same crayon. —

FBI Laboratory Examination (PC-36839 BN-GH) | states that the brassj

for human blood stains with negative results. The examination of the Paper- -
mate Ball Point nencil (Ql1) as ontained from the purse of HEADY, Showed
that ‘the ink in this ball point peres1 is blue whereas the ink lines on the —
envelope (93) used in mailing a ransom note are black. _
