SUHEUFLER, Kansas City, Missouri, charging both HALL and HEADY with violation of Section 876, Title 18, United States Code in that on or about September 28, 1953 at Kansas City, dackson Coumty, Missouri. in the Western District of Missourd, | thess subjacts caused to be mailed an extortion letter through the Imited States Mails, demanding payment cf a sum of money on or about September 28, 1953. United States Attcormey SCHEUFLER recommended . $30C.000 bend each on HALL and HEADY rztumnadle forthwith at Kansas City, Missours. Es Arr Arraignment On October 7, , 1953, HALL and HEADY were 3 brought befora United States Commissioner EDVIN J. BEAN, St. Louis, Missouri, on the above charge, They were tempcrarily combitted to the custody of the Thited States Marshal. and placed in the St. Louis City Jail upon failure to maka $106, 00C bond. HEADY and HALL were brought before United States Commissioner BEAN on Octeber Po 1953 by the United States Marshal on 7 basis of a certified ccpy of “tha complaint and warrant issued in the Western District of Missouri agai the subjects. They waived hearing and sack was committed to the St. Lowks City Jail in default of $100,000 bond. Ce. Removal OMAR SCHNATMEIER, United States Marshal, St. Louis, Missouri, advised that HALL and,/HEADY were removed from the Eastern District of Missouri to the Western District of Missouri during the night of October 13 = 14, 1953 and turned over to the United States Marshal at Kansas City, Missouri, at approximately 3:45 A.M., October 1h, 1953 ~222— Se ee, en ails ee HEE TS 8 TM I I I AS: AF
