MODUS OPERANDI At approximately 9:43 a.m-, on April 15, 1974, four white females and a Negro male armed with four .30 caliber .. carbines and a .38 revolver, who now have heen identified as: . NANCY LING PERRY, white female, date of birth-September 18, 1947; FBI Number 313 206 Ll; CAMILLA CHRISTINE HALL, white female, date of birth March 24, 1945, FBI Number 313 297 y.9; PATRICIA MICHELLE SOLTYSIK, white female, date of birth May 17, 1950, FBI Number 313 208 L6;. PATRICIA CAMPBELL HEARST, white female, date of birth February 20, 1954; and DONALD _ DAVID DE FREEZE, Negro male adult, date of birth November 16, Lo 1943, FBI Number 606 723 D, entered FDIC insured Sunset Office, The Hibernia Bank; 22nd.and Noriega Street, San Francisco. , As robbers took strategic positions in the bank lobby, the robbery was announced "This is a holdup (or robbery). Everybody get down on the floor." Other witnesses report "Hit the floor and you won't get hurt." Other statements made during the robbery were "We're the SLA", "This is TANIA HEARST of the SLA", or "This is TANIA HEARST" or "I'm TANIA".- The Negro male, as the robbery progressed, was heard to he counting "91 —- 93” and the statement was made “Let's get out of here”. As four of the robbers controlled the customers and employces, the fifth vaulted the teller's counter near the west end of the’ bank and removed currency and property valued at $19,692.51, _.. ineluding $200.00 in hbaj from the tellers windows of | . Surveillance cameras activated and good identifiable photographs of robbers obtained. Robbers, who were in the bank about two Minutes, after firing. additional shots outside the bank, slightly wounding a witness, fled bank in a rental vehicle recovered ten blocks. away. ~ During robbery, a back-up or cover car, a rental -: vehicle, reportedly occupied by four white males with rifle, waited. across the street from the bank and trailed the escape _ vchicle from the bank robbery scene. This back-up unit abandoned same general area as getaway car. Suspected switch cars are two additional rental vehicles abandoned in underground garage '*<". approximately five miles from the area of the bank 30 minutes ‘° after the robbery.
